When both mother’s sisters, Līze and Ieva, who lived next door to each other, were arguing. The oldest one, Līze, comes down on the youngest one for trying to marry off Līze’s son. Ieva protests and says that her head hurts from so false accusations. Līze concludes: “Your head is hurting because devil is forging horns in your forehead!” Then she laughed and departed in a slow pace back to her home “Spodri”. But I was left wondering how devil is going to drive those horns in my beloved aunt’s forehead.
